Meet Kathleen
Dr. Kathleen Muglia, DNP, APRN, is an internationally recognized Pediatric Behavioral-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and university professor with over thirty years of clinical experience.
With a background in genomics and certified in data science and the HEAL Model (Human-Equine Assisted Learning), with compassion and creativity, she helps families build deeper connections and heal emotional wounds starting with personalized reflections and assessments. Through therapy, medication, nutrition, nature, active living, purpose-driven principles, spirituality, and the healing power of animals, Kathleen’s nuanced approach prioritizes holistic healing for the entire family.
“Fuzz,” as Kathleen is affectionately known, can often be found at 4 a.m. sipping coffee, snuggling with her dog by the fireplace, reading or writing—usually while dreaming of her next horse adventure.
